Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) extract is a safe and effective natural sedative, that calms both the mind and body due to its anxiolytic properties. Clinical research demonstrates that Valerian effectively relieves anxiety-related insomnia and suggests that it may actually be comparable to some prescription anti-anxiety drugs for treating anxiety disorders. Unlike many drugs, however, Valerian is not addictive or habit-forming when taken in the recommended dose and has no known side effects. It is believed to work to have an affect on the brain's GABA system (a major inhibitory neurotransmitter), boosting GABA levels to promote relaxation and lower stress levels.

5-HTP is an amino acid derived naturally from the seeds of the plant Griffonia Simplicifolia. Scientific studies show that 5-HTP helps relieve anxiety. As 5-HTP is converted to serotonin naturally by the body. Serotonin has been shown to be vital in the regulation of mood, particularly with problems of anxiety and depression.

Chamomile (Matricaria recutita L.) has been used historically as a calming agent for many years. Chamomile contains several active chemical compounds shown clinically to have mild anti-inflammatory and anti-anxiety effects. This ancient remedy for anxiety still works, relaxing the nervous system, relaxing the muscles and easing the digestive complaints that often accompany anxiety.

Bacopa Monniera (Brahmi) is a small flowering plant traditionally used throughout India for the treatment of a variety of ailments. Brahmi has been shown in recent studies to have anti-anxiety effects. The relief of anxiety symptoms is thought to be caused by the active chemical interaction with the GABA system in the brain, which has been shown to be related to anxiety disorders. It has the positive effect of enhancing memory and cognitive functions also.

Oats (Avena Sativa) have long been used for alleviating fatigue and for restoring strength and vigor. They are balancing and calming to the nervous system and encourage healthier sleep patterns. Traditionally oats have been valued for their antidepressant and nerve regenerative properties. As a porridge, Oats provide a nutritious meal and is a good source of B vitamins (calming to the nervous system) and contain healthy soluble fiber which can lower cholesterol and stabilize blood sugar levels to prevent changes in mood levels that can trigger anxiety, irritability and symptoms of depression. Oats promote the neurochemical serotonin in the brain which in turn calms the brain and body relieving feelings of anxiety, nervousness and sleep related problems.

Magnesium is a key nutrient in the treatment of anxiety. Studies indicate that anxiety may be due in part to low magnesium levels. Also, there is evidence to suggest that stress levels can affect magnesium levels within the body during periods of extreme stress.

Niacinamide is a form of niacin that has anxiolytic (anti-anxiety) properties. Unlike regular niacin, however, niacinamide (unlike Niacin) does not cause flushing or stress to the liver. Niacinamide is a water-soluble vitamin from the B group of vitamins that has anxiolytic (anti-anxiety) properties and may work similar to psychoactive medication such as Benzodiazepine.

Lemon Balm (Melissa Officinalis) has been shown in several placebo-controlled, double-blind clinical trials to demonstrate that combinations of Valerian and Lemon Balm extracts effectively promote sleep. The German Commission E has approved Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) for the relief of sleep disturbances. When combined with Valerian, Lemon Balm may be especially effective at quickening sleep onset and improving the quality of sleep. In fact, one clinical trial found a combination of Lemon Balm and Valerian to be just as effective as some prescription sleep medication. Furthermore, it has been shown to be especially effective at quickening sleep onset and improving the quality of sleep.

Taurine is a naturally occurring organic sulfonic acid found in the body and is essential for many functions including cardiovascular, skeletal development and for the central nervous system. Its range of therapeutic benefits include anxiolytic effects which are thought to act as a regulator or anti-anxiety element in the central nervous system by activating the glycine receptor, lowering blood pressure and calming the sympathetic nervous system.

Jujube Seed (Ziziphus jujuba) has been popular in Chinese medicine for thousands of years, used as a sedative for treating insomnia and anxiety. It contains natural anti-oxidants, anxiolytic, anti-fungal, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and sedative qualities. The key chemical found in jujubes is jujuboside A, which works to affect the hippocampus, providing relief from insomnia, anxiety and stress.

Reishi Mushroom (Ganoderma lucidum) is considered, in parts of the world, an incredible herb to boost longevity and due to its adaptogenic, anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory properties it has also been shown, among many other benefits, to be calming on the nervous system. Containing polysaccharides, which stimulate the immune system and triterpene acids which reduce hypertension, it is commonly used to relieve insomnia and anxiety.

Melatonin is a natural human hormone that works with the body's own sleep-wake cycle (circadian rhythm), providing a healthier and more restful sleep than sedative drugs. Levels of melatonin and its production vary throughout our life cycle, these differing levels affect our sleep patterns. Many studies have been conducted showing the benefits of melatonin on treating anxiety and also to promote better sleep, regulate sleep/wake cycles and improve sleep quality providing a healthier, more refreshing sleep than sedative drugs.

Get The Facts About Anxiety
About
40 million adults in the United States, over 18% of the population, will suffer from panic attacks at some point in their lives. Approximately 3 million people, or 1.75% of adults, will experience a full-blown panic attack at some time in their lives.
Generalized anxiety disorder, or GAD, is diagnosed when a person experiences excessive worry and relentless anxiety over normal situations with no rational reason for the worry and anxiety. Typically, people who suffer from anxiety constantly expect the worst situation will come to pass and are not able to quit worrying about many different aspects of their life.
Usually, the worry is unfounded or worse than it should be. For people who suffer from anxiety, the excessive worry takes over their lives and interferes with their ability to function normally in everyday life. As such, it can cause significant problems at work, school, home, and in social situations.
What are the Symptoms of Anxiety?
Not only is anxiety an emotional condition, but it can manifest itself physically as well. Some of the most prevalent symptoms of anxiety are:
- Relentless worry
- Problems are exasperated
- An inability to relax
- Irritability
- Tight muscles
- Headaches
- Perspiration
- Inability to focus
- Upset stomach
- Increased urgency to urinate
- Exhaustion
- Sleep disturbances
- Shaking
- Jumpiness
Moreover, those who suffer from anxiety may be dealing with other anxiety disorders like obsessive-compulsive disorder, phobias, and panic attacks, or even depression and/or alcohol or drug addictions.
What are the Causes of Anxiety?
It is unknown what definitely causes anxiety. However,
there are several factors that seem to lead to the development of anxiety. These are:
1. Genetics: Several studies indicate that people who have family members with anxiety are also likely to develop anxiety disorders. It is possible that anxiety passes from one generation to the next.
2. Brain Chemistry: Research has shown that anxiety is often related to abnormal levels of specific brain neurotransmitters. Neurotransmitters essentially transport information to each nerve cell. If these neurotransmitters are not in balance, the information is not delivered to the nerve cells correctly. This results in the brain reading the incorrect information and responding to anxiety inappropriately.
3. Environment: There are many external factors like abuse, a loved one's death, divorce, or relocation that can trigger anxiety. In addition, anxiety can become more severe when the sufferer is under increased amounts of stress. Withdrawal from substances with addictive properties such as caffeine, drugs, and alcohol can also exacerbate anxiety.
How Many People Have Anxiety?
Statistics indicate that over any 12-month period, approximately 4 million adults in the United States are dealing with anxiety. Anxiety is more common in adults, however it can start at a very young age. Women suffer from anxiety more than men do.
How is Anxiety Diagnosed?
If someone is experiencing the symptoms of anxiety, a physician will start an examination by reviewing the patient's complete medical history, as well as undertaking a physical examination. Even though no scientific tests are available to verify an anxiety diagnosis,
the physician can perform a variety of tests to rule out other physical medical condition as the reason the symptoms are occurring.
A diagnosis of anxiety is based on how long the symptoms have been present and how severe they are. Included in a diagnosis is the analysis of any interference the anxiety might be affecting the person's everyday life. At that point, the physician will decide if the symptoms are consistent with a particular anxiety disorder.
Anxiety can only be diagnosed if and when the symptoms have persisted for the majority of days for a period of at least six months. The symptoms must also be getting in the way of the patient living a normal life. For instance, the patient is not able to go to school or work because of the symptoms.
What is the Prognosis of Anxiety Following Treatment?
Even though there is no cure for anxiety and the symptoms often recur following treatment, the majority of sufferers do receive significant abatement of symptoms after they are treated correctly.
Is Anxiety Preventable?
Anxiety disorders are not preventable. However, certain lifestyle changes can be made that can help alleviate the symptoms or make them less severe. Some of these changes are:
1. Reduce or eliminate foods and beverages that list caffeine as an ingredient. This includes soda, tea, coffee, and chocolate.
2. Work out more often and follow healthy eating guidelines.
3. Engage in therapy following a stressful or traumatic experience.
4. Learn and practice stress reduction exercises such as meditation or yoga.
What are the other Anxiety Disorders?
The categories of anxiety disorders, excluding GAD are;
1.
Panic Disorder. This condition is characterized by panic attacks, which are periods of intense and extreme fear or psychological distress. These attacks are often debilitating and usually come about with little warning. Even though the attacks themselves are completely harmless, the symptoms can be debilitating for sufferers, often increasing levels of anxiety.
The symptoms of panic attacks can include shaking, difficulty breathing, pain or tightness in the chest, perspiration, a racing heart, an upset stomach, light-headedness, tingling in the limbs, hyperventilation, vomiting, and a feeling of a lump in the throat.
2.
Phobia. Phobias are strong and persistent fears of events, objects, or specific people. The main symptom of phobias is an irrational and excessive fear of a certain subject and the avoidance of that subject. Phobias are not uncommon and typically, a diagnosis is only made if the fear is causing the sufferer to avoid situations that are vital for normal functioning.
3.
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, (or PTSD). This is a condition that arises due to exposure to a traumatic event. This can be a single experience or can be a series of experiences that can totally disrupt the person's ability to deal with the emotions that are related to those experiences. The symptoms of PTSD include persistent, scary thoughts that can manifest without notice, and the inability to confide in people with whom they were once close.
4.
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, (or OCD). The symptoms of this condition include unwanted and persistent thoughts or images and the need to participate in specific rituals. The symptoms of OCD can be intermittent or can get progressively worse without treatment.

AnxiClear™ - Frequently Asked Questions:
What makes
AnxiClear™
more effective than other anxiety products?
Most anxiety supplements do not contain the correct blend of clinically proven ingredients and fail to provide separate day/night time formulas in order to provide the body with what it needs for a total 24 hour total care system for relieving anxiety and restoring calm and balance back into your life. Most anxiety formulas combine a few key components with additional non-active ingredients, which can dilute the effectiveness of the product. This creates a cheaper solution and a less effective product. Others use inferior forms of critical ingredients, which just don't work as well. Some products neglect the research and include ingredients that are not even related to anxiety at all. AnxiClear™ is the only total care system to provide the exclusively formulated combination of quality key ingredients that relieve anxiety suffering, effectively addressing the challenging symptoms that this often debilitating condition can bring.
Only AnxiClear™ uses a 100% natural formula that combines high quality ingredients in their most effective forms and provides separate day/night time formulas. This has enabled us to create an
effective, total care system that not only restores calm and balance during the day time but also regulates healthy sleeping patterns to ensure you wake feeling rested and motivated also. By combining these approaches, AnxiClear™ has been able to create a superior anxiety supplement that works faster and is more effective than any other product on the market.
